About us

We are a group of tabletop gamers who are interested in strengthening our community through gaming. Everyone is welcome around our table and we hope that by bringing people together with the common goal of having fun, we can help build friendly relationships throughout our community. Gaming is a great form of team building and a healthy outlet for friendly competition. It is an excellent learning tool and can be used to help strengthen math, science, communication and an endless list of other skills. When sitting around a table and immersing yourself in a game, sexual identity, race, gender, religion, age, skill, and capability do not matter. You can become the hat from Monopoly or the barbarian Halfling in D&D; it’s about expressing yourself and having fun. We want to build relationships and help teach individuals to look past people’s labels, learning that given the chance, a lot of people can and will prove the stereotypes of those labels wrong. Humanity has become increasingly divided by social media and it is increasingly easier to define people by the small tidbits of information we see. It’s then used to reinforce predetermined biases.

We’re here to break that.

Our mission is to provide an environment, where through the avenue of gaming, we can once again embrace the beauty of differences. By bringing people together through face to face interaction and working to encourage social interaction, we can help bridge those differences and prove that instead of a wedge that divides us, those differences can help strengthen our community as a whole.

We are the Dice Alliance.
